ABOUT THE WORKFLOW
Upscale an Image
Upload an image and choose 2x or 4x. Bria Increase Resolution scales it up using a dedicated upscaling method that preserves the original content without regenerating it. You get a sharper, higher-resolution version of the same image back.
Partner node. This workflow calls an external API, so each run uses credits from your API wallet. No API key needed. Floyo handles the connection.
Model
Bria Increase Resolution by Bria. A production upscaling model trained on licensed data, strong at preserving fine detail, transparency, and color accuracy.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1. Upload your image
The image you want to upscale. Any resolution, any subject.
Works great with: photos · illustrations · product shots · UI assets
Step 2. Pick your scale
Choose 2x or 4x. 2x doubles width and height. 4x quadruples them.
Step 3. Hit run and download
Bria scales up the image and returns the result. Preview it in the workflow, then download.
Ready for: Photoshop · Figma · print · any editor
First time? Leave every setting as-is. The defaults (2x · preserve alpha on · PNG) are the right starting point for almost everyone.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
Quick-start guide. Find the goal that matches yours and copy the settings.
Standard upscale (most people) — 2x · preserve alpha on · PNG. The right starting point for almost everyone.
Maximum resolution for print or large format — Switch to 4x. This quadruples both dimensions, so a 1024px image becomes 4096px.
Upscaling a PNG with a transparent background — Keep preserve alpha on (it is on by default). The transparency carries through to the output.
Upscaling a photo where colors look shifted — Turn preserve color on. This locks the color profile of the original so the output matches.
Need a different file type — Switch output type from PNG to match where the image is going.
Output looks soft or blurry — Start with a cleaner source image. Upscaling amplifies whatever is in the original, including noise and compression artifacts.
Prompt: No prompt needed. This workflow takes an image and a scale factor. The model handles the rest.

FAQ
What is Bria Increase Resolution?
Bria Increase Resolution is a dedicated AI upscaling model by Bria. It scales images to 2x or 4x their original resolution using a method that preserves the original content without regenerating or hallucinating new detail. It is trained on licensed data, making it safe for commercial use with full IP indemnification.
How is Bria Increase Resolution different from other AI upscalers like Real-ESRGAN?
Most open-source upscalers like Real-ESRGAN regenerate detail, which can introduce artifacts or change the character of the image. Bria Increase Resolution uses a preservation-first approach that keeps the original content intact. It also supports alpha channel preservation for transparent PNGs, and it is trained on licensed data so the output carries full commercial rights.
Does Bria Increase Resolution preserve transparency?
Yes. The preserve alpha setting is on by default. If your source image has a transparent background (PNG), the upscaled output keeps that transparency. This makes it a strong fit for product cutouts, logos, and UI assets.
Can I use the upscaled images for commercial projects?
Yes. Bria trains all its models on licensed data and provides IP indemnification for commercial use. You can use the output in ads, product pages, print, broadcast, and packaging without additional licensing.
What resolution should I choose, 2x or 4x?
Use 2x for most tasks. It doubles width and height, which is enough for web, social, and standard print. Use 4x when the image needs to hold up at large physical sizes or when the source is small and you need a significant resolution jump. 4x takes longer to process.
Does Bria Increase Resolution work on illustrations and vector-style art?
Yes. The model preserves clean edges and flat color areas well, so illustrations, icons, and UI assets upscale cleanly. Keep preserve alpha on if the source has transparency.
How to run Bria Increase Resolution online?
You can run Bria Increase Resolution online through Floyo. No installation, no setup, no API key to wire up. Open the workflow in your browser, upload your image, and hit run. Free to try.
WHY FLOYO?
Floyo is the only platform with team collaboration for ComfyUI in the browser. You run workflows with no install. You share run history, assets, and models across your team. You pay only when you generate. Floyo supports open-source and closed-source models.
A designer runs an edit and likes the result. A teammate opens that exact run from shared history and keeps going. No file handoffs. No version confusion.
For studios and enterprise teams, Floyo adds private workspaces, pooled resources, and a team usage dashboard. Other ComfyUI cloud tools run for one person at a time. Floyo runs for the whole team, with transparent per-generation costs.
