ABOUT THE WORKFLOW

Edit an Image
Upload a photo, type the change you want, and get an edited version back. The model changes what you describe and keeps the rest of the photo intact. That's it.

Partner node. This workflow calls an external API, so each run uses credits from your API wallet. No API key needed. Floyo handles the connection.

Model

  • FIBO Edit 1.5 by Bria AI. An 8B-parameter structured image editing model trained on 100% licensed data, strong at precise targeted edits with minimal unintended changes to the rest of the image.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1. Upload your image
The photo you want to edit. A clear, well-lit image gives the cleanest result.
Works great with: photos · portraits · products · scenes

Step 2. Describe the change
Say what to change in one plain sentence, like "replace the background with a sunny beach, keep the person unchanged" or "change the jacket to red leather."

Step 3. Hit run and download
FIBO Edit 1.5 applies the edit and returns one image. Preview it in the workflow, then right-click and save.
Ready for: Photoshop · Figma · Canva · any editor

First time? Leave every setting as-is. The defaults (auto aspect ratio, random seed) are the right starting point for almost everyone.

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

Quick-start guide. Find the goal that matches yours and copy the settings.

  • Standard edit (most people) — Auto aspect ratio, random seed. The right starting point for almost everyone.

  • Want to reproduce a result — Set a specific seed number. The same seed with the same instruction gives the same output, so you can iterate on the prompt without changing the base.

  • Need a different crop — Switch the aspect ratio away from auto. This can crop or extend the scene, so check the preview.

  • The edit is not landing — Reword the instruction before changing any setting. Name what you want changed and what should stay the same. "Change the jacket to red, keep the pose and background" works better than "make the jacket different."

  • Want a subtle change — Keep the instruction narrow. One specific change per run gives the model less room to drift.

  • Want a bigger transformation — Describe both what to add and what to remove. Two clear statements in one instruction ("remove the car, replace it with a bicycle on the same road") tend to hold better than a vague rewrite.

Prompt: Describe the change and what to preserve in one sentence. "Replace the background with a sunset, keep the person and lighting unchanged" is clearer than "make it look nicer." The more specific the instruction, the more precise the edit.

USE CASES

🖼️ Background Swaps
Replace or change a background in one instruction while the subject, lighting, and pose stay intact.

🛍️ Product Photography
Restyle a product shot, swap a surface or backdrop, or adjust details for a new campaign without reshooting.

🎨 Style and Material Changes
Change textures, fabrics, colors, or materials on a subject. Turn a cotton shirt into denim, swap wall paint, or recolor a car.

📐 Precise Retouching
Remove or add objects, fix details, or adjust a single attribute in a scene without affecting everything else.

WHAT WORKS BEST / WHAT TO AVOID

✅ Works great

  • Clear, specific edit instructions

  • Single, well-lit source images

  • Background swaps and object edits

  • One targeted change per run

⚠️ May produce softer results

  • Vague instructions like "make it better"

  • Full creative reimagining of the whole image

  • Crowded or cluttered source images

  • Multiple conflicting edits in one instruction

FAQ

What is Bria FIBO Edit 1.5?
FIBO Edit 1.5 is an image editing model made by Bria AI, part of the FIBO model family. It takes a photo and a plain-language instruction and applies targeted edits while preserving the rest of the image. Under the hood, it converts your instruction into a structured JSON scene description, which gives it more precise control than models that interpret loose text prompts directly.

How does FIBO Edit 1.5 compare to other AI image editors like Nano Banana Pro or Adobe Firefly?
FIBO Edit 1.5 converts your instruction into a structured JSON blueprint before applying the edit. That means it changes only what you asked for, with less unintended drift in the rest of the image. It is strong at precise, repeatable edits such as background swaps, color changes, and object modifications. Where it is weaker is loose, creative rewrites where you want the whole image reimagined. Nano Banana Pro (Google Gemini 3 Pro) handles broader creative edits and accurate text rendering. Adobe Firefly is tied to the Adobe ecosystem. The right choice depends on whether you need surgical precision or wider creative range.

Is FIBO Edit 1.5 trained on licensed data?
Yes. Bria trains all FIBO models on data licensed from commercial partners including Getty Images, Alamy, Envato, and over 30 other sources. No web-scraped data is used. For teams in regulated industries or commercial production, this provides a level of legal clarity that most open-source image models do not offer.

Can I use FIBO Edit 1.5 outputs commercially?
The open model weights are licensed for non-commercial use only. When you run the model through a paid API connection, which is how this workflow operates, commercial use is covered under Bria's API terms. Bria provides IP indemnification for outputs generated through their commercial API. Review Bria's current terms for your specific use case.

What is the difference between FIBO Edit and FIBO Generate?
FIBO Edit starts from a photo you upload and modifies it based on your instruction. FIBO Generate creates a new image from a text prompt and optional references. Use FIBO Edit to change an existing image. Use FIBO Generate to make one from scratch.

Does FIBO Edit 1.5 support masks or reference images?
The model supports up to four reference images and an optional mask for region-specific edits. This workflow has one image input wired. The mask and additional reference slots are available in the node but not connected by default. For most edits, a clear instruction without a mask is enough.

How to run Bria FIBO Edit 1.5 online?
You can run Bria FIBO Edit 1.5 online through Floyo. No installation, no setup, no API key to wire up. Open the workflow in your browser, upload your image, describe the edit, and hit run. Free to try.

WHY FLOYO?

Floyo is the only platform with team collaboration for ComfyUI in the browser. You run workflows with no install. You share run history, assets, and models across your team. You pay only when you generate. Floyo supports open-source and closed-source models.

A designer runs an edit and likes the result. A teammate opens that exact run from shared history and keeps going. No file handoffs. No version confusion.

For studios and enterprise teams, Floyo adds private workspaces, pooled resources, and a team usage dashboard. Other ComfyUI cloud tools run for one person at a time. Floyo runs for the whole team, with transparent per-generation costs.
