Video detailer with LTX‑2 Video‑to‑Video is about taking an existing clip and running it through LTX‑2 so it adds detail, sharpness, and better lighting, while keeping motion, framing, and timing unchanged.
Overview
The V2V detailer workflow loads your source video, encodes it into LTX‑2’s latent space, and applies a dedicated “detailer” LoRA on top of the 19B model to refine textures, faces, and edges. A looping sampler processes overlapping frame windows and blends them, so the enhanced video remains temporally coherent across the whole clip.
Why use it
Upgrades soft or blurry footage into sharper, more HD‑like output without changing the scene content or style.
Refines faces, skin, hair, and small textures while avoiding heavy restyling or the plastic over‑processed look of some “AI upscalers.”
Works directly in a V2V flow, so you do not have to re‑generate videos from prompts just to improve quality.
Use cases
Polishing AI‑generated clips (from text‑to‑video or image‑to‑video) to production‑ready sharpness for 1080p or 4K delivery.
Cleaning up low‑res or old footage—black‑and‑white, grainy, or compressed videos—into clearer HD masters.
Last‑stage enhancement in multi‑stage pipelines, after main generation and retakes, to push detail before export or further upscaling.
