Encode text into cipher characters and decode it back.

Paste a message into the text box, pick a cipher style from the dropdown (Alien Cipher, among others), and the workflow spits out a disguised version of your text. Feed that disguised text into the decode node and your original message comes back clean.

No models. No GPU heavy lifting. Two nodes doing Unicode math, side by side.

How do you use the Alien Cipher to encode and decode text?

Paste your text into the input node. The encode node transforms it into alien-looking Unicode characters using the cipher style you pick. The decode node reverses the transformation. Copy the encoded output to share a disguised message, and anyone running the same decoder gets the original back.

Text input This is your source message. The node accepts any length of text, any language. The example file uses a French poem about steganography, but English, numbers, and punctuation all flow through the cipher fine.

Cipher style (dropdown) The workflow ships with "Alien Cipher" selected. The node has other cipher styles in the dropdown (different Unicode transformation sets). Want your text to look like glitched hieroglyphs? Try Alien. Want something different? Open the dropdown on the encode node and pick another style. Whatever you pick on encode, match it on decode or your text comes out scrambled.

Show Text preview Both the encoded and decoded outputs have a display node attached. Run the workflow and you see the transformation happen side by side. Copy either string out of the preview to use elsewhere.

What is cipher text encoding good for?

Disguising text for novelty posts, light obfuscation, puzzle design, ARG clues, or any creative project where you want a message that looks scrambled but can be decoded with the right key. The output is pure Unicode, so it copies and pastes anywhere.

For social media, the encoded text reads as unusual characters in a feed. It catches attention without using images.

For games and puzzles, this is a fast way to generate cipher clues that players can decode if they find the matching key.

If you are building anything with hidden messages (comments, easter eggs, invites), this gives you a reversible disguise in two clicks.

This is a light cipher. It is not encryption. Anyone with the same node can decode your output. If you need actual secrecy, use real cryptography.

FAQ

What is the Alien Cipher in the Orion4D Secret Agent pack? Alien Cipher is one of the transformation modes in the OrionUnicodeFlip node. It swaps each character of your input for a matching Unicode glyph that looks foreign or symbolic. The result is readable as text but visually disguised. Feed the encoded string back through a decode node set to the same mode and your original message returns.

Can I share the encoded text outside Floyo? Yes. The output is plain Unicode, so you can paste it into Discord, X, email, notes, anywhere text goes. The receiver does not need Floyo to see the encoded glyphs, but they do need the matching decode node to read the original message.

Does the Alien Cipher work with non-English text? Most cipher styles map character by character, so Latin alphabet text (English, French, Spanish, German) encodes and decodes cleanly. Non-Latin scripts like Chinese, Arabic, or Cyrillic may pass through unchanged or partially transform depending on the cipher style you pick.

What other cipher styles does the node include? The OrionUnicodeFlip node has a dropdown with several Unicode transformation sets. Alien Cipher is one. Open the dropdown on the encode node in the workflow to see the full list. Whatever you pick on encode, set the decode node to the same style for a clean round-trip.

How to run the Orion4D Secret Agent text manipulator online? You can run the Orion4D Secret Agent text manipulator online through Floyo. No installation, no setup. Open the workflow in your browser, type your text, and hit run.
