HOW IT WORKS
Step 1. Load your source video
Bring in the clip you want to edit.
Works great with: short clips · single-scene footage · consistent lighting
Step 2. Describe the edit you want
Write a plain-language instruction for the change — e.g. swapping seasonal elements, changing colors, altering objects or backgrounds — and Gemini Omni Flash applies it across the video.
Step 3. Frames are extracted and reassembled
The edited video is broken into frames and audio, then rebuilt into a new video file to finalize the edit.
Step 4. Save your result
The edited clip is saved automatically as a video file.

First time? Keep the safety checker on and start with a single, clear edit instruction (one change at a time) rather than stacking multiple edits in one prompt.
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
Quick-start guide. Find the goal that matches yours and copy the settings.
Standard run (most people) — Start here — One clear edit instruction, safety checker on. The right starting point for almost everyone.
Subtle style change (e.g. season, color palette, lighting) — Describe just the specific element to swap, as in "cherry blossoms instead of autumn leaves" — keep the rest of the scene unstated so it's preserved.
Content getting filtered unexpectedly — Toggle
enable_safety_checkerto match how permissive you need the edit to be.Editing from a URL instead of an upload — Use
input_video_urlin place of a loaded video file.
Prompt: Be specific about what changes and what should stay the same — Gemini Omni Flash edits in context, so naming the one element to swap (not rewriting the whole scene) gives the most reliable result.
USE CASES
🍂 Seasonal & Environmental Swaps Change elements like foliage, weather, or time of day without reshooting.
🎨 Style & Color Edits Adjust color grading, mood, or visual style of existing footage via prompt.
🧩 Object & Background Changes Replace or remove specific objects/backgrounds while keeping motion and composition intact.
🔁 Iterative Editing Re-run with a new instruction on the same source clip to try different edits quickly.
WHAT WORKS BEST / WHAT TO AVOID
✅ Works great
Short, well-lit, single-scene clips
One clear, specific edit instruction per run
Edits to color, season, objects, or background elements
Stable, low-motion footage
⚠️ May produce softer results
Long or multi-scene videos in a single pass
Vague instructions ("make it better")
Multiple unrelated edits stacked in one prompt
Fast, chaotic motion or heavy occlusion

FAQ
What is Gemini Omni Flash? It's Google's fast multimodal model, used here through fal.ai to apply natural-language edits directly to video content.
Why does the workflow extract frames and rebuild the video? The edit node returns a processed video reference; the frame extraction and CreateVideo step reassemble the edited frames with the original audio into a clean final file before saving.
Can I edit from a URL instead of uploading a file? Yes — the node accepts an input_video_url field as an alternative to a loaded video.
Does this workflow edit images too? No — despite similarly-named workflows in this series, this one is video-only. There's no image input or Nano Banana node in this graph.
Can I use the results commercially? Check Google/fal.ai's current terms for Gemini Omni Flash outputs, since commercial usage rights depend on the model provider's licensing, not on Floyo itself.
Ready to try it? Load a video, describe your edit, and hit run.
