Turn a still image into a video clip with native audio in one run. Upload your image, describe how you want it to move, and Seedance 2.0 Fast generates a video with matched sound effects and ambient audio baked in.

This is the fast variant of ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 model. It trades a bit of fidelity for lower wait times, which makes it good for iteration. You get the same controls as the full model: resolution, duration, aspect ratio, and optional end frame guidance.

How do you use Seedance 2.0 image-to-video?

Upload a starting image, write a prompt describing the motion you want, and hit run. The model animates your image while generating synchronized audio. You can also set an end frame image to control where the motion lands, giving you tighter creative control over the full clip.

Image Your starting frame. This is what Seedance 2.0 animates. The model preserves the visual content of your image and adds motion based on your prompt. Higher quality input images give cleaner results.

End Image (optional) Want the video to land on a specific frame? Upload an end image and the model interpolates between start and end. Leave it empty if you want the model to decide where the motion goes.

Prompt Describe the motion, not the scene. The model already sees the scene from your image. Focus on what moves: "camera drifts left revealing more of the forest," "hair blows in the wind," "smoke rises from the chimney." The more specific your movement description, the better the output. Camera movements (dolly, pan, tilt, zoom) work well here.

Resolution Default is 480p. Good for fast previews and iteration. Move to higher resolutions once you have a prompt and composition you like.

Duration Set the clip length. Default is 5 seconds. Shorter clips tend to have tighter motion quality. Longer clips give the model more time to develop movement but can drift.

Aspect Ratio Default is 16:9. Switch to 9:16 for vertical/mobile content or 1:1 for square formats. Match this to where the video will be used.

Generate Audio On by default. The model creates ambient sounds and effects that match the video content. Turn it off if you plan to add your own audio track in post.

Seed Set to randomize by default. Lock the seed when comparing prompt changes so the only variable is your text.

What is Seedance 2.0 Fast good for?

Seedance 2.0 Fast is built for quick iteration on image-to-video generations. Use it when you need to test prompts, compare motion styles, or produce social content at speed. The native audio saves a post-production step that most other video models require.

Social content where you need a quick turnaround. Product shots that need subtle motion (rotation, zoom, environment shifts). Concept videos where you want to test five prompt variations before committing to a full-quality render.

The end frame input is useful for controlled transitions. Set a start and end image, describe the motion between them, and the model bridges the gap. Good for before/after reveals, scene transitions, and looping content.

For final production renders where you need maximum detail, consider the standard (non-fast) Seedance 2.0 endpoint. The fast variant prioritizes speed over peak visual quality.

FAQ

What resolution does Seedance 2.0 Fast support? The workflow defaults to 480p for fast iteration. Seedance 2.0 supports output up to 1080p. Start at 480p to nail your prompt and composition, then bump the resolution for your final render.

Does Seedance 2.0 Fast generate audio automatically? Yes. Audio generation is on by default. The model creates ambient sounds and effects synced to the video content. You can toggle it off if you want silent output or plan to add your own soundtrack.

What should I write in the Seedance 2.0 prompt for image-to-video? Describe motion, not the scene. The model already sees your uploaded image. Focus on what moves and how: camera direction, subject actions, environmental effects like wind or water. Specific camera instructions (slow dolly, lateral pan) give the best results.

Can I control where the video ends with Seedance 2.0? Yes. Upload an end frame image and the model interpolates between your start and end frames. This gives you control over the full arc of motion. Leave it empty for open-ended generation.

How do I run Seedance 2.0 image-to-video online? You can run Seedance 2.0 image-to-video online through Floyo. No installation, no setup. Open the workflow in your browser, upload your inputs, and hit run. Free to try.
