This workflow is a 26-scene animated short inspired by the Japanese folktale Issun-boshi. It follows a three-centimeter-tall boy from his miraculous birth and quiet family life through isolation, a journey to the capital, a battle with an oni, and a final science-fiction revelation.

Its visual identity blends traditional Japanese brush techniques with contemporary action animation. Dry-brush strokes, pooling ink, broken contours, watercolor bleeds, and visible paper grain create a hand-painted world in which every line seems alive.

The action scenes use extreme squash and stretch, smears, exaggerated perspective, sharp changes in timing, and fast three-dimensional camera moves. Delicate brushwork carries the quieter performances, while battles and travel sequences turn the brushstrokes themselves into motion.

Reference images keep the hero's face, purple hair, clothing, needle weapon, and absolute three-centimeter scale consistent. Each Seedance node generates one scene of approximately 15 seconds. Near the ending, the style intentionally shifts to clean digital cel animation, visually separating the story's science-fiction truth from its folktale world.

Scenes can be selected and generated individually, then exported as MP4 video with audio.
